Rental payment profile and those SMS's explained
Many people who pay rent each month don't realise that paying their rent regularly, on time and in full can contribute towards a positive track record that will influence their profile when applying for credit or a loan. TPN provides landlords with a free service call Rental Payment Profile (RPP). In turn, TPN makes this information available to tenants via SMS, also at no charge to the tenant. The result is that if you are renting a property where the landlord is a TPN subscriber, you should receive an SMS every month advising you of how your credit record has been updated with regards to your RPP.
