TPN is a credit bureau which provides credit screening and reports for the rental property market. TPN combines information from a number of valuable sources to provide the most comprehensive and accurate rental behavioural profiles on tenants and prospective buyers in the property industry. Our market encompasses all levels of the industry, including residential, commercial and landlord managed rentals. We also have longstanding associations with the two leading international consumer credit bureaux, Experian and TransUnion ITC.

Tenant Credit Checks
  • We provide the TPN enquiry which specializes in a tenants credit history. The report details a list of past rented accomodation, specialized default information from previous leases (eg Used deposit as last months rent, Evicted from property etc) and we show actual rental payment information (how the tenant has paid his rent in the past).
  • CIPRO - Cross reference company and director information.
  • ID Verification - Verify that the name/surname and ID number provided for your tenant match against the Home Affairs database.
  • Access to Experian and TransUnion ITC credit reports for judgement, default and notice information.
  • Criminal Checks - Confirm with the SAPS whether or not your potential tenant has a criminal record.
  • Bank Code - Confirm whether the bank account details exist and whether the tenant can afford to pay the proposed rent.
    BlackListing
  • Tenants who default and do not remedy the breach can be blacklisted on TPN and TransUnion - free service.
    Payment Profile
  • When you load your tenants rental payment profiles, TPN will SMS your tenants to advice them that their payment profiles have been updated with the TPN credit bureau. This encourages tardy tenant to pay their rent on time - free service.
    Letters
  • Welcome Letter - send your tenants a motivational letter from TPN upon commencement of the lease to encourage them to pay their rent on time - free service.
  • Letter of Demand - Let TPN send your arrear tenants a Letter of Demand. Letters are sent by Fax, E-mail, SMS and Post.
    Access and Availability
  • TPN gives you the ability to perform enquiries from our website, via our call center, or via your cellphone. Reports are delivered within seconds of the request and are available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
