Discussions relating to property rental

2010/07/06 04:01:41 PM Shar Posts: 13	What is considered a reasonable percentage to charge for just the placement, credit check and drawing up the lease? I know some agents still charge the full 10% up front - but it sounds excessive to me.

I would suggest 6-7% of total lease value. Make sure you know what is expected from agent if this placed tenant renews the lease once or more than once. -- Investor and Property Manager with value add solutions www.houses4rent.co.za
